The stage appears set for a modest rebound in the hip and knee replacement markets, although pricing pressures remain.

The numbers for 2014 are now in for the major orthopedics manufacturers, and by most accounts, the knee and hip sectors are rebounding, albeit modestly. Overall growth appears to be in the low-single digits, led by Biomet Inc., Johnson & Johnson (J&J), and Zimmer Inc. in knee implants and J&J and Biomet in hip implants.
