MDIC: Regulatory Collaboration Builds Industry Resources

When looking to identify prospective resources to help navigate the industry’s complex regulatory and reimbursement pathways, device companies are accustomed to reaching out to the medtech trade associations AdvaMed and MDMA (Medical Device Manufacturers Association). A less well-known, but potentially equally valuable asset is the Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC). A panel at last November’s Medtech Strategist San Francisco Innovation Summit featured the leadership of MDIC highlighting the broad nature of the organization’s resources and explaining how large and small product companies can benefit from these efforts.
