SI-Bone’s Data-Driven Strategy to Dominate MIS SI Joint Fusion

The brainchild of two experienced orthopedics entrepreneurs, six-year old SI-Bone is looking to shake up sacroiliac bone joint fusion with a data-driven marketing strategy and minimally invasive technique that is gaining traction among surgeons.

After Mark Reiley, MD, and Jeff Dunn sold their one-year-old ankle replacement start-up, InBone Technologies Inc., to Wright Medical Technologies Inc. in 2008 for five times the return on investment, Reiley went to France to paint and Dunn, armed with a “shoebox” of paperwork from Wright, immediately got to work on their next venture.
