Developers of a system for intraoperatively monitoring and quantifying blood loss during surgery, replacing today’s inaccurate methods for doing so, Gauss’ Triton system gained 510(k) clearance under the de novo pathway in 2014 and is sold to hospitals by experienced medical device reps.
