ARTICLE SUMMARY:

SentiAR aims to improve the workflow, ergonomics and precision of catheter ablation for the treatment of atrial fibrillation, by presenting clinicians with a three-dimensional image of a patient’s heart and the location of their catheter within that model during surgery.

As technology and medicine converge, there is a lot of talk about the promise of virtual- and augmented-reality (VR and AR) but very little in the way of actual therapeutic applications.
