What we’re watching for:

Medicare rules. We anticipate several important Medicare proposals out sometime in the next several weeks, most notably the 2022 hospital outpatient/ambulatory surgical center payment system (OPPS/ASC) proposed rule and the physician fee schedule (PFS) proposed rule. Also in the mix will be the end-stage renal disease (ESRD) proposed rule. These will each be hundreds of pages of detailed annual policy setting for healthcare service payments. Here are a few key issues to look out for from a medtech perspective:
