Zenflow: A Reduced-Risk, Office-Based Procedure for BPH

For men suffering from benign prostatic hyperplasia, many device companies have tried to fill the treatment gap between pharmaceutical therapy and tissue-injuring procedures performed in surgical suites. ew have succeeded in offering an office-based procedure that patients can walk away from without pain and/or a temporary urinary catheter in place. Early-stage Zenflow believes it can achieve this with a permanent implant that's easily delivered with the tools urologists use every day.

 Zenflow Inc. came about after its founders, Nick Damiano and Shreya Mehta, participated in the Stanford Biodesign fellowship program, which trains budding medtech entrepreneurs in the process of innovation.
